Education in Dr. Bhandarkar’s memory

College scholarships since 2021

On Foundation Day, 26 February 2021, the foundation gave its first scholarships: a โ‚น50,000 cheque to Govindrao Warjurkar College, Nagbhid, and a โ‚น50,000 cheque to S. S. Jaiswal College, Arjuni โ€” two colleges Dr. Bhandarkar helped establish. This is an annual scholarship of โ‚น50,000 for meritorious undergraduate and postgraduate students from economically backward families.

Annual school competition

Since 2024, the foundation has run an annual video competition for students of grades 8โ€“10. Students act as young environmental scientists and propose practical, scientifically sound solutions to a real problem facing Bramhapuri. Winners receive cash scholarships.
