Sahishnu Foundation successfully organized an Artificial Limb Distribution Camp at its Brahmapuri center on July 25, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to empowering persons with disabilities and helping them lead independent, dignified lives.
Through this compassionate initiative, beneficiaries received high-quality artificial limbs, enabling them to regain mobility, confidence, and the ability to stand on their own feet once again. More than just providing prosthetic devices, the program restored hope, self-reliance, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Sahishnu Foundation Inaugurates Advanced AQI LED Display Board in Brahmapuri

On February 26, 2026, Sahishnu Foundation proudly inaugurated an advanced Air Quality Index (AQI) LED Display Board in Brahmapuri as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting environmental awareness and public health.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Officer Mrs. Madhuri Salame, distinguished businessman and social worker Mr. Ravindra Ashtekar, and Mrs. Vandana Bhandarkar.
This initiative marks an important step toward raising public awareness about the growing challenge of air pollution. By providing real-time air quality information, the AQI LED Display Board will help citizens make informed decisions and encourage collective action for a healthier environment.

Super Specialty Health Check-up Camp Successfully Conducted

A Super Specialty Health Check-up and Expert Consultation Camp was successfully organized on February 26, 2026, by Sahishnu Foundation, Brahmapuri, in collaboration with Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre, Wanadongri.
The camp received an overwhelming response from the community. Specialist doctors in Cardiology, Neurology, and Urology examined patients, provided expert medical consultations, and guided them on appropriate treatment options. Numerous patients, especially those in need, benefited from the free healthcare services offered during the camp.
This initiative marks another significant step toward building a healthier community by ensuring access to quality healthcare and specialist medical advice.
Sahishnu Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors, medical staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries whose support and participation made this health camp a grand success.

For this camp, patients got tested by renowned orthopedic specialist Dr. Rehan Amji of City Hospital, Nagpur Kamathi. Thirty-nine patients participated in the camp. The patients thanked the doctors and the entire team of Sahishnu Foundation. This Sahishnu Foundation is a charitable organization. Always works diligently for the well-being of Brahmapuri and the people of rural areas.
Sahishnu Foundation Brahmapuri has decided to provide ambulances for patient care. This service will be provided at a low rate to the very poor and needy destitute and elderly patients.
What is Sahishnu Foundation Brahmapuri in area and why? From a legal point of view, patients in this area should get doctors and their advice and proper guidance should be given to the patients. Dental camp successfully organized at Sahishnu Foundation April 13th 2024

Community Outreach Camp at Khadki
The Sahishnu Foundation held a successful general diagnostic camp at Khadki-Panholi on July 27, 2023. 55 adults and 23 paediatric patients were clinically examined. Under the leadership of Dr. Umakant, several volunteers provided care.
Urology Camp
Urology Diagnostic Medical Camp was conducted at Sahishnu Foundation, Bramhapuri on July 23, 2023. Patients were examined by a renowned urologist Dr. Pranal Sahare, MBBS,MS,MCh, DNB.
Community Outreach Camp at Shivani
A community outreach medical camp was conducted at Shivni. 63 patients were delivered general consultation and OPD-based physiotherapy treatment.

A check of 50,000 INR was presented to the College Principal Mr. Singh by Mrs. Vandana Bhandarkar and Alokdipti Shah on the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Wasudeo Bhandarkar. Alokdipti Shah further laid out the vision of Sahishnu- Foundation.
In a similar event, a 50,000 INR check was presented to Mr. Ashwin Chandel Principal of Jaiswal college at Arjuni. Ms. Rupa Kukde further enlightened the attendees about the future plans of the Sahishnu Foundation during the event.
