Dr Umakant Raut a very well know medical practitioner from Bramhapuri have joined Sahishnu Foundation to help screen patients.
He will be available for diagnostic and counselling and screening services at the new clinic @ the new clinic on Nagpur Road at Bhede Complex on regular basis.
He will be running out patient clinics on MONDAY , WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Foundation Day 26th Feb
This is the day when we celebrate our Dr. Wasudeorao Bhandarkars Birthday by actions of kindness and giving.
Scholarship 2021 26th Feb
Dr. Wasudeorao Bhandarkar’s (1950-2020) notability as an educationalist rests partly on the reforms that he succeeded in bringing about in the education sector. He was instrumental in the establishment and restructuring of two Senior colleges:
Govindrao Warjurkar College at Nagbihd
S S Jaiswal College at Arjuni
He is celebrated as one of the founders and the greatest patron at both places. He has contributed to the famous Nagpur University at various forums and platforms. He was chairman of the board of studies in Zoology at Nagpur University He was an unquestioned leader, a gallant gentleman, a finished product of the culture, that, in these days pertain a few. of renowned Nagpur University.
In fond memory of this great educationalist, social reformer, environmentalist we are donating an annual sum of INR. 50,000/- to Govindrao Warjurkar College at Nagbihd and S S Jaiswal College at Arjuni This will be an annual scholarship of INR. 50,000/- to meritorious UG/PG students belonging to economically backward families. The Scholarship will be financial aid to the needy to complete his/her education.
Spine and Cardiac Health Camps – Registration starts 26th Feb
On this foundation day, we will are announcing Spine and Cardiac Screening camps.
- In this Annual event, a free spine and cardiac assessment and consultation will be done by Dr. Amit Bhandarkar and Dr. Aashish Badkhal
- Surgical candidates will be operated on by an experienced team headed by Dr. Amit Bhandarkar for Spine Surgery and Dr. Aashish Badkhal for Heart surgeries at a well-equipped hospital in Nagpur.
- Maximum financial assistance will be provided for workup and surgery, including hospital stay and transportation.
- Preference will be given to residents of Brahmapuri.
- All services will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Registration dates will be announced in advance every year.

- Health records and progress notes will be maintained by the foundation, easily accessible to patients anytime.
- If needed, physicians will make appropriate referrals.
- Access will be provided to expert specialists in the field for further consultation and treatment.
- Yearly reassessments will be done to optimize health.
